West Shore kindergarten program earns national accolade

West Shore SD has won an Honorable Mention in the National School Boards Association’s (NSBA) Magna Award recognition program. The accolade was given in honor of the district’s Kindergarten Acceleration Program, which provides additional learning opportunities for at-risk students in elementary school without the need for additional class space necessary to provide full-day kindergarten for all students.
