Students in the National Art Honor Society at New Oxford High School participated in a national initiative called The Memory Project, designed to show support and encouragement for children in Syrian refugee camps. Students at the high school received photographs of the Syrian children and created unique portraits of each child. The portraits were delivered to the schools in the refugee camps, where the children received them with delight. Watch a video commemorating the project.
