Students participate in STEM activities as part of a visiting program.

Centerville Elementary School sixth grade students participated in the North Museum’s “What in the World?” program in late October. Sixth graders worked in groups with individuals who work in STEM fields. Presenters included registered nurses, professors, healthcare specialists, a meteorologist, an actuary, a physicist and a CADD specialist. Students enjoyed speaking to and experiencing hands-on learning with these STEM professionals.
