Students at Franklin Elementary School at Maker Mornings program

Students at Franklin Elementary School have new ways to practice their STEAM skills. The Maker Mornings program was first implemented during the 2016-17 school year after a grant made possible the creation of a makerspace in the library. Participating students are able to engage in STEAM activities such as Snap Circuits, gravity maze, coding, robots and Legos, in the makerspace before school under the supervision of teachers. Franklin also hosts an after-school coding club in addition to in-class STEM activities throughout the year.
