Life Skills students receive first paycheck

WYASD Life Skills students received their first paycheck in October as part of a Work Based Learning Experience offered by WY High School through the coordination of the Ms. Stauffer, Director of Special Education, Mr. Rutkowski, Director of Food Services, and Ms. Krebs, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and LIU12 Transition Consultant. This food service experience provides students with the opportunity to learn valuable vocational skills and training with the mentoring of LIU12 Job Coaches and Food Service staff.
