Students fill empty plates for a cause

New Brighton High School’s (NBHS) Empty Plates project aims to bring attention to hunger while raising funds for the New Brighton Soup Kitchen. Led by the NBHS Interact Club and NBHS Art Department, each ticket included a beautiful handmade plate and a delicious pasta and bread lunch. Attendees chose their plates and students dished up the hot lunch. Almost $1,400 was raised and donated to the soup kitchen.
