North Penn SD administrator Dr. Jenna Rufo honored by Montgomery County Down Syndrome Interest Group

North Penn School District is proud to recognize Dr. Jenna Rufo, Director of Special Education and Student Services, for being honored by the Montgomery County Down Syndrome Interest Group (MCDSIG) in December 2016 on behalf of her work for students with disabilities. The MCDSIG is a nonprofit group that supports individuals with Down Syndrome along with their families and friends. Through mutual support and guidance, their goal is to assist in increase social understanding and acceptance of Trisomy 21. Rufo was invited to be a special guest at MCDSIG’s annual Breakfast With Santa on Dec. 11 in Blue Bell, PA, where she was presented with artwork and recognized by the group for her true dedication and genuine passion for helping students with disabilities.
