Old Forge students honor veterans at community ceremony

Students in Old Forge SD took time out of the school day to honor veterans on November 11. They attended the Old Forge Veterans Day ceremony held by American Legion Post 513, and VFW Post 4954. According to an article on PAHomepage.com, veterans in attendance found the students’ participation meaningful. In the article, Army veteran John O’Hearn said that watching them recite the pledge of allegiance and be part of the program “brought tears to my eyes.”
