Pequea Valley High School educator Josiah Moon and students planted 300 trees along the Conestoga River to improve a 100-year flood plain. The effort was part of an initiative called Greening the Lower Susquehanna, funded by a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation grant and led by Penn State’s Agriculture and Environment Center.
