Students win at Physics Olympics

Students from Farrell Area School District got the opportunity to attend Youngstown State University’s 2019 Physics Olympics. Not only did they get the chance see physics demonstrated in applied settings, but they were able to compete in 12 physics events. Students from Farrell Area High School have been participating in the Olympics for 25 years. This time, five students brought home placement in their events, including three first-place awards, one second-place award, and one third-place award.
